We are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated Director of biology to lead our biology team to develop novel medicines of autoimmune/neurodegenerative diseases. The successful
candidate will contribute both intellectual creativity and technical expertise towards the development and implementation of our company’s R&D strategy. Requirements: Ph.D. in immunology/oncology or related field with post-doctoral training at top-tier academic institutions, at least 10+ years of industry experience at leading companies in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, and with track record of establishments. Experience with CROs is a must. This position may require extensive travel, and speaking foreign language(s) is a plus. Comprehensive understanding of and experience with in vitro and in vivo models for autoimmune diseases and oncology. Demonstrated ability to deal with complex problems and formulate creative solutions. Understanding of state-of-the-art drug discovery technologies, and experience with immunological assays, techniques and platforms. Multitasking ability, experienced supervisor of talented PhD scientists and technical staff in multidiscipline teams and a motivated team player.
